Bayazid was a young boy. His mother was very ill. One night, he was studying beside his ill mother’s bed. Suddenly his mother woke up raised her head and told her son to give her a glass of water. bayazid went to the kitchen to bring water.

He found the pitcher was empty. He searched for water here and there but could any. Then he decided to get water from the nearby fountain. He took the pitcher and walked to the fountain for the water. He comes back home filling the pitcher to the top.

He filled water into the glass and came back to his mother. he saw that his mother was asleep again. He didn’t want to disturb his sick mother. He standing quietly beside her bed. She hugged her son with deep love and prayed to Allah for her son.

but he saw that pitcher was empty. Bayazid dont know what to do. suddenly he remember that there was a fountain at the other side of village. it was midnight. He left home with a pitcher in his hand. he filled the pitcher with water and came back home. he went to his mother.

By that time, his mother had fallen asleep. He did not disturb his sick mother. he siting quietly beside her bed with the glass of water in hand. in the morning his mother woke up. she fotgot what she told her son befoore falling asleep. She was surprised to see her son standing with the glass of water, beside her bed.

She drank the water and blessed her son from Bottom of her heart.

সে বাড়ির আশেপাশে পানি খুঁজে দেখল, কিন্তু কোথাও পেল না। তখন সে মনে করল, পাড়ার অন্য প্রান্তে একটি ঝর্ণা আছে। মাঝরাত হলেও সে দেরি না করে হাতে কলস নিয়ে বেরিয়ে পড়ল। সে ঝর্ণা থেকে পানি ভরে নিয়ে বাড়ি ফিরে এল। সে গ্লাসে পানি ঢেলে মায়ের কাছে এল, কিন্তু তখন দেখল মা আবার ঘুমিয়ে পড়েছেন।

সে মায়ের ঘুম ভাঙাতে চাইল না। সারারাত গ্লাস হাতে বিছানার পাশে দাঁড়িয়ে রইল। সকালে মা ঘুম থেকে উঠে অবাক হয়ে দেখলেন, ছেলে গ্লাস হাতে তার পাশে দাঁড়িয়ে আছে। তিনি বিষয়টি বুঝে ছেলেকে গভীর ভালোবাসায় জড়িয়ে ধরলেন এবং আল্লাহর কাছে তার জন্য দোয়া করলেন।

বায়েজিদ বোস্তামী ছিলেন ইরানের (তৎকালীন পারস্যের) নাগরিক। তিনি পারস্যের বোস্তাম নামক স্থানে জন্মগ্রহণ করেছিলেন। জন্মস্থান অনুসারে তাঁর নামের শেষে বোস্তামী যুক্ত হয়েছে।
